OPENING TIP — The Tennessee State women’s basketball team will hit the road to Missouri for two games this week after picking up two wins at home last week. The Lady Tigers will start their two-game road stretch in St. Charles as they will face Lindenwood tomorrow evening.
The Matchup: Tennessee State (7-13, 5-6 OVC) vs. Lindenwood (5-15, 3-7 OVC)

SERIES INFORMATION: This will be the fourth matchup between TSU and LWU. The Lady Tigers lead the all-time series 3-0 after picking up a season sweep last season while earning an 83-80 win over the Lions earlier this season. Sanaa’ St. Andre finished with 29 points in the win.
USI NUMBERS AND NOTES
1: The number of losses that USI now has in the OVC after facing the Lady Tigers. The Screaming Eagles entered Saturday’s contest 9-0 in league play before being knocked off 65-58 by TSU. It marked the second straight upset win for TSU after they defeated 5-3 Morehead on Thursday.
5: The number of OVC weekly awards that Sanaa’ St. Andre has earned this season. The KC transfer was named the Newcomer of the Week for the fourth time after averaging 18.5 per outing, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals throughout two games last week. She had a 19-point outing that included five assists and three steals against MSU while contributing 18 points in the upset win over USI.
1K & COUNTING: Eboni Williams reached the 1,000-career point mark against USI this past Saturday as she finished with 14 points. Williams entered the day with 995 points. Williams played three seats at Chattanooga from 2018-2021 and tallied 855 points as a Moc. She is in her second year as a Tiger despite not playing last season due to injury. Williams has scored 154 points this season to push her across the 1K mark.
HELLO 100: Saniah Parker became the sixth Lady Tiger to reach 100 points this season. It took the junior just 10 games to reach the mark as she has played in just 10 games with nine starts. She has now logged 100+ points in each of her first three seasons.
